Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the lead character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Alongside her television role, she's also had film roles such as Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack comes from an unrelated family. Her parents are clinical psychotherapist and the owner of an local ice-cream restaurant. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the separation of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program in Comparative arts. She began her career when she was just 12 years old, and she starred in the stage production "Amahl & the Night Visitors,' a Christmas operetta. She continued to play in theatre and ultimately bagged roles both on small and the big screen. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible artistes in Hollywood. McCormack has three daughters along with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
