Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season four. She played a cook known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. She was in the crew for the television show Carol & Company in early 1990, along with the actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also the wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends' initial episode. Jane Sibbett took over her role after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on working full-time. She starred in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 to 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Barone's television credits also include Desperate Women Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in the year 2004 for her performance on the film One Last Ride. Barone began her character as mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years following The War at Home concluded the film's run. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
