Antonia's food is a way to explore her life. She developed a curiousity about food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to coexist in harmony with the food menu. This is a belief which has evolved in the course of the years. All of her meals, she has a vision that is unique and reflects a longing for the historical. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired by her Italian American roots. The restaurant was greeted with the warmest welcome. Lofaso has received praise for her unique interpretation of Italian dishes. Lofaso has been described as a neighborhood restaurant that consistently serves food that's authentic, delicious and warm. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and learned their sophisticated methods but she never hesitated to make bold decisions to honor her instincts. She worked closely with many celebrities and rose rapidly through the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso found her place within Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. Lofaso was able to achieve her dream of creativity through her collaboration. Black Market is not constrained by one definitive direction which is exactly what the idea. It would start with potato chips flavored with dill, Shishito peppers, and continue with Korean wings. Antonia provides the overwhelming range of tastes. Lofaso's success has been measured by her capacity to stay honest with herself, while understanding her audience. Her memorable performances on Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her uniqueness outside of the kitchen. Her talents continue to shine in front of the camera, as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup as well as in recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso joined forces with Penguin Publishing to produce The Busy Mother's Cookbook - 100 Recipes of Quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In this publication, she describes her life as a mother, and also a student in her school, the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso states that the reason to her achievement originates from her kitchen. This is the way she keeps a pulse of the latest happenings. She is transforming the design by creating chef's wear with a focus on style and function by launching her brand Chefletics.
